The Snuggle Me Organic is an infant lounger recommended for infants 0-9 months of age. Made from organic fabrics with a hypoallergenic polyester fiber fill. Because it is designed to curve around your baby, this lounger creates a comforting environment for the teeniest member of your family. The Snuggle Me is multi-functional and portable as a newborn lounger, supervised rest spot, tummy time aid, and travel mat. Say that five times fast! The product also has add-ons available for purchase such as a waterproof mat, additional and limited-edition slip covers, and swaddle blankets. The entire product is washable, but it is recommended that you wash the actual lounger as sparingly as possible–which is where the slipcover comes in handy.

Support for Baby (and Me)

I used the Snuggle Me the most during months 1-2 when my baby was napping for a majority of the day and had limited mobility. I was able to place the lounger on the floor, so the baby could sleep under my direct supervision while I tidied the kitchen or folded the laundry.

Now that my baby is 6-months old however, I’m still using the Snuggle Me Organic on a daily basis. During tummy time, I prop baby up over the side, and when they are sitting, I sit them inside the lounger so the sides can provide extra support to keep them balanced.

A key feature of the lounger is that it’s very easy to clean – I can just take the slipcover off, toss it in my normal washing cycle, and then quickly throw it in the dryer. However, in hindsight, I wish I had purchased two slip covers instead of just one, because as much as you try to avoid it, this thing will be drooled on, spit up on, and covered in everything else you weren’t expecting.

While Baby Lounges, Mom Can Have Her Coffee and Drink it Too

With my first baby, I did not have a Snuggle Me and I spent a lot of time with baby napping on my chest while I took in some Netflix. The paranoia I had of constantly feeling like I needed to see their every breath and watch every move left us attached at the hip and left me feeling more like a sack of potatoes than myself.

When my second baby came along, I wasn’t able to commit that much time to snuggle because I was also chasing after a toddler. But after purchasing the Snuggle Me Organic, I felt relieved and confident to know that my baby was still safe and relaxed, even not in my arms. I also appreciated being able to have more independence by placing my baby in the Snuggle Me, so I could do crazy thing like comb my hair or brush my teeth. #momlife

I could also lay the lounger on the couch beside me while I drank my coffee and read or even worked on crocheting (my new hobby). Overall, I love my Snuggle Me because it gives me the freedom to not feel guilty about putting my baby down so that I can take care of myself.

A Mini Struggle with My Snuggle

My only real pain point with the product has been getting the slipcover on perfectly. Due to the size and shape of the lounger, the slipcover can be tricky to get on just right. It’s not like baby can help put the cover on so be prepared to either ask someone to help or to work up a little sweat putting it on yourself.

Mama-Recommended, Baby-Approved

I would highly recommend the Snuggle Me Organic lounger to my fellow moms—it allows moms the freedom and peace of mind to have their baby nap or lay next to them calmly and safely. It’s the perfect item for the mom that wants the convenience of being able to be near their baby while encouraging independence outside of their arms.

The lounger is also great for the mom who has older children or is on-the-go and still wants to provide that nurturing secure environment for baby. (Again, never for co-sleeping or to be left alone!) Because of the higher price of the lounger, I think it’s an excellent item to add to your baby registry.
