While discussing her experience on a quarantine special of The Ellen Show, P!nk explained that the two are beginning to recover. “Jameson’s two days now without a fever, which is really a huge relief,” she stated.
She explained that her three-year-old was the first in her family to exhibit any symptoms, and that she originally did not think much as “three-year-old’s get sick all the time.”
“He started with a fever March 14th, we’ve been quarantined since March 11th,” she said. “His fever would come and go, and then he would have stomach pains, and diarrhea, and chest pains, and then a headache, and then a sore throat.”
P!nk explained that his symptoms were all over the place and every day it was something new. His fever even climbed up to 103 degrees. However, she noted that there was not much she could do besides give him Tylenol.
She then stated how she began getting sick around March 16th, but did not have any of the typical symptoms that they tell you to look for. The virus affected her lungs, as she explained that she woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t breathe.
“I’ve had asthma all my life, really, really bad asthma to the point where sometimes I end up in the hospital,” the 40-year-old said. “It’s been probably 30 years since I needed a nebulizer breathing treatment in the hospital or anything like that.”
She explained that she required a nebulizer, and had to rely on her rescue inhaler as she could not function without it.
She also addressed how people are upset and that it is controversial that she was able to get tested, noting that people “should be angry” about it. However, she explained that anyone who is upset with her is misdirecting their feelings.
