While social distancing with his family, Matthew McConaughey took some time to give back on Sunday night. McConaughey, his children, his wife Camila, and his mom Kay, all came together to host a very special game of virtual bingo for the residents of The Enclave at Round Rock, a senior care home in his home state of Texas.
The residency first reached out to the actor last September in hopes of getting him to host a couple of games, however, now seemed like a better time than ever as he stepped up to the plate to call Bingo for 18 of the residents.
“Ever play virtual bingo with #MatthewMcConaughey? You’d be a whole lot cooler if you did!,” read a post from the Enclave at Round Rock’s Senior Living’s Facebook page. “We’ve got two winners!” McConaughey shouts in the video shared on the post.
Virtual Bingo with Matthew McConaughey!
Ever play virtual bingo with #MatthewMcConaughey? You’d be a whole lot cooler if you did! The residents at The Enclave at Round Rock Senior Living got to play virtual bingo with #MatthewMcConaughey and his family! Thank you to Matthew, his wife Camila, and his mom Kay for hosting our residents for a few rounds of virtual bingo! Our residents had a great time playing, and they loved talking with Matthew about his family heritage and his favorite drink.

The residency also took time to thank McConaughey, by posting “During a time when we are all working to make lemonade out of lemons, we are so humbled that Matthew took the time to play our favorite game with us.”
During a time when we are all working to make lemonade out of lemons, we are so humbled that Matthew took the time to play our favorite game with us. As Matthew would say, let's turn this red light into a green light!

We love this idea! As seniors in assisted living facilities are unable to see their loved ones, it’s great to see celebrities like McConaughey step up to help put a smile on their faces during this lonely and difficult time.
