Amongst all of the rumors, Gigi Hadid has confirmed that she is pregnant with her first child! Thursday night on a virtual episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the 25-year-old cleared the air to say that she and boyfriend Zayn Malik are expecting their first child together.
“Obviously we wish we could’ve announced it on our own terms, but we’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support."
Though Hadid never confirmed, family sources told TMZ that the couple are expecting a girl.
As a father of two, Fallon gave his advice to the expecting mother, telling her to be present during the entire process.
“I’m trying, like especially during this time,” she responded. “It’s a nice silver lining to be able to, like, be home and together and experience it day by day.”
Hadid also discussed celebrating her 25th birthday last week, in which she had a breakfast themed party to fit in with her biggest pregnancy craving right now; everything bagels.
“In the morning my family brought out a everything bagel cake, which already blew my mind, because my craving has been everything bagels,” she explained. “I eat an everything bagel a day, and so, I was already, like, so excited that my birthday cake was an everything bagel. But then I found out that Buddy, the Cake Boss, made my cake.”
She then explained that her hormones are getting the best of her right now
“I don’t know if it was like, my hormones right now or just quarantine emotional-ness, but I cried every five minutes for like, an hour every time I thought about that Buddy made my cake,” she said.
Trust us Gigi, that happens! We’re glad to hear everything is going well, and wish her a happy and healthy pregnancy!
