Harry Potter star, Rupert Grint, is going to be a dad! The actor who is most well-known for his role as Ron Weasley, is expecting his first child with longtime girlfriend, Georgia Groome.
The couple, who have reportedly been dating since 2011, were spotted out getting groceries in London last Thursday when Groome first showed off her baby bump.
Grint’s rep confirmed the pregnancy, stating “Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are excited to announce they are expecting a baby and would please ask for privacy at this time.”
In 2018, the actor told The Guardian that he would “like to settle down and have kids soon.”
“If I had a son, would I call him Ron?” he joked. “It’s quite a good name, but probably not. And Grint’s a tough name to pair a one-syllable first name with.”
So, will he name his child Ron? Only time will tell! Congratulations to the couple!
